Course Objective

European Union is a regional integration approach which based on economic integration. The main objective of this course is to analyze and understand the evaluation of European economic integration, its dynamics and future perspectives in scope of globalization, regionalization and current economic evolvement.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the economic integration theory,
2   To understand the customs union, single market and harmonization of economic policies stage of European integration,
3   To analyze economic integration forms by comparison,
4   To evaluate EU with regards to economic integration,
5   To address economic integration in historical process and to dispute today s European integration including monetary union stage.
