Course Objective

The aim of this course is to understand the structure, function, process and results of industrial relations systems in terms of the creation and distribution of income in the process of globalization. This course is important and necessary for the students to examine the change in the context of economic and social policies in our country in the field of science discipline of industrial relations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the effects of industrial relations on the competitiveness of the national economies in the era of globalization.
2   To learn the structure, function, process and results of industrial relations systems in terms of the creation and distribution of income in the process of globalization.
3   To analyze cross relations between competition and industrial relations in terms of the social and economic aspects
4   To compare the changes of industrial relations systems on global scale and in Turkey in terms of time and space.
5   To deal on a global scale social and economic crisis and transformations in the context of competition and industrial relations and to evaluate the effects of Turkey.
