Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the ability to evaluate occupational health and safety with its organizational, managerial and problematical aspects, comparing Turkey, other countries and international institutions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define the concept and characteristics of occupational health and safety
2   Being able to comprehend the practice of occupational accident models
3   Being able to comprehend the role of international institutions in occupational health and safety
4   Being able to evaluate the state of occupational health and safety in Turkey within the scope of other country samples
5   Being able to associate globalization with occupational health and safety
