Course Objective

The main objective of this course is to understand the function and structure of labor markets in the era of globalization. This course is important for the students to scrutinise emerging changes related to the economic and social policies in Turkey in the field of labour economics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the function and structure of labour market in Turkey in the era of globalization.
2   To know the aspects which effects social politics globally and locally
3   To analyze the effects of international labour standards in terms of social and economic aspects.
4   To scrutinize the importance of values of international social politics
5   To evaluate the social and economic crisis and transformations in global scale, and their effects on Turkey in the era of globalization
