Course Objective

To give detailed explanations about the type of the sanctions in the TCC.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to interpret the rules of the sanction systems of TCC
2   Being able to express the significant characteristics of the sanctions in accordance with the principles of the domestic law and international law
3   Being able to expres the difference between the penalty and the security measures.
4   Being able to evaluate the determination and the individualization of the penalty in consideration of the basic knowledges about the sanction system
5   Being able to express the reasons terminating the case and penalty relation

1 Introduction to the criminal sanctions, the term penalty and its attributions
2 The purpose of the penalty, types and the penalty and the security measures
3 Generally punishment restricting freedom, the seperation of short term-long term punishment, the proporties and the executions of the long term punishments
4 The execution of the short term punishments restricting freedom, private execution types
5 Fines, types of the fines, the proporties of the day fine systems
6 The results of the sentence and the announcement of the record
7 Mid-term exam
8 Introduction to the determination of the punishments, choosing the type of the punishment and calculating
9 individualisation of the punihment and the reasons to the reductions
10 the appropriation of the penalties, the systems of calculating the penalties
11 Recidivism and the results
12 Postponment, conditional release and the results
13 Quashing of the conviction
14 The results of quashing of the conviction
