Course Objective


To gain basic teoric information about Prophecy which is major topic of Islamic Belief System to understand and interpret correctly.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student attain to level to understand and interpret texts about Prophecy from Basic-classical sources.
2   He/she read texts in soures critically in Prophecy.
3   Student make analyze-synthesize basic approach in prophecy.
4   He/she get informaton about other religions understanding about prophecy and can compare it with Islamic approach
5   Student learn historic roots of todays discussion about Prophecy.

5 Some notions and terms about proof of Prophecy such as I'caz, miracle, extra ordinary, karamah
6 Analyzing some notions such as revelation, insprition, exploring, mubassırat
7 Different opinion in Ahl Sunnah according with Prophecy
8 Prophecy according with Mutazila
9 Prophecy and Imama in Shia Doctrine.
10 Rejections to Finality of Prophethood
11 Nabi-Rasul from the view point of Finality of Prophethood
