Course Objective

Aims to determine the examination of the decoration programs of the main examples, especially in architecture from the early Islamic period.Also intends to identify the growth and change of these decorations during Anatolian Seljuk, Beyliks and Otoman periods.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the wealth of decoration in the field of Islamic art, especially in the Architectural works.
2   Recognizes the Turkish Islamic art products from Architecture up small objects.
3   Understands and can detect objects in three-dimensional forms.
4   Meets with the problems of the field and gains the ability of critical thinking and point of view.
5   Gains the ability of re-interpreting and reproducing the knowledge which is learnt during the MA program.
