Course Objective

To teach to students Ottoman Turkish rules and make them understand texts written in Ottoman Turkish.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   When Students get this course learn the rules and principles of Ottoman Turkish.
2   They will learn the kinds of writting in the Ottoman Turkish (Aklam-ı Sitte).
3   They will ability to read a variety of texts written in a variety of fonts.
4   They will resolve texts written in Ottoman Turkish with the help of a Dictionary.
5   They will get the information that will help them in the studies of Master s Degree.
