To learn the phases of Islamic institutions and to determine how they influence contemporary Islamic world

2   Can differentiate the elements of Islamic civilization from other civilziations
3   Analyze the influence of Islamic institutions on Western civilization
4   Compare the characteristics of institutions in Islamic civilization
