Course Objective

The aim of this course is to get students to comprehend importance of literary texts in the history teaching and to teach how they will use literary texts in their course

1   To explain history and literature relation
2   To array fundamental genres and subjects in the Turkish literature
3   To explain emergence of historical novels in West and Turkey
4   To analyze how different periods of Turkish history reflected to the novels
5   To comment on impacts of popular novels on the historical approach
