Course Objective

Analyse and research the biographies and studies of nationalist thinkers who were effective in Turkey in the last of 19th century and 20th century

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to know the liberal and conservative thinkers in Turkey.
2   Being able to comment political and social environment which impressed the nationalist thinkers
3   Being able to analyse the original examples of nationalist ideas.
4   Being able to inform about lifes of nationalist thinkers who lived in Turkey.
5   Being able to forge a link between nationalism with other political ideas in Turkey.
