Course Objective

To introduce the basic concepts related to business management, to develop management skills by examining the basic functions of recent the theoretical and practical knowledge on management.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about the basic concepts of business management.
2   To have a detailed information about the basic functions of management [of planning, organizing, directing (motivation, leadership, discipline), coordination, control and creativity].
3   To link associations between management functions and management decision-making processes in the lights of organizational communication.
4   To comment about situations that arise in business / management functions and connectivity problems.
5   To gain information about conflict management, crisis management.
6   To use management skills for the solution of management problems.
