Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide information about the role and impact of tourism in society and examine the effects of cultural activities and differences on tourism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to identify socio-cultural, economic, and cultural impacts of tourism.
2   To be able to examine tourist motivations and personality theories to analyze tourist behaviour
3   To be able to identify, discuss and evaluate the impacts of globalization on culture and tourist behaviour.
4   To be able to analyze the relationship between culture and tourism.
