Course Objective

To introduce sources of usul al tafsir from different aspects, to show the similarities and diversities, to evaluate topics of usul al tafsir and discussions in this field, to show development and features of usul al tafsir.

1   He learns basic terms of usul al tafsir.
2   He sees main sources of usul al tafsir.
3   He understands the relation between Quıranic Sciences and Usul al Tafsir
4   He learns the main features of works of usul al tafsir written in the first period.
5   He learns intercourse among usul al tafsir, usul al fiqh and usul al hadis.
6   He considers approaches to usul al tafsir in modern period.
