Course Objective

Recognizing the riches works of art, primarily architectural, formed in the world of Turkish and Islamic Art and evaluate these works from a broader perspective.Reveals the importance of house and palace architecture in the physical structure of Islamic cities.To evaluate these works from a broad perspective of Historical and theoretical approaches.To discuss the approaches for the conservation of the architectural heritage.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge to recognize the historical enviroment as a whole and evaluates from a broad perspective.
2   Recognizes the types and examples of civil structures in Islamic art.
3   Determines the problem relate to the field and can designes solutions with alternatives projects.
4   Provides solutions for the protection of Architectural and cultural heritage.
5   Gains the ability of independently conducting a study requiring expertise in the field of Islamic history and arts.
