Course Objective

To introduce and teach Sirah and Maghazi sources

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns the sources of Islamic history; cultural, social and religious life of Arabs in pre-Islamic era; Prophet Muhammad s life before the revelation, revelation process and tabligh activities.
2   Gets knowledge about hardship early Muslims faced and the significant events of Maccan period
3   Gets knowledge about the hijrah, significant events of Madinan period and the battles of the Prophet
4   Learns cultural, social and political life of Muslims in the era of the Prophet and learns Muslims relations with other tribes and states
5   Gets the ability of criticizing and analyzing the events in the history
6   Learns the life of the Prophet, his personality and his contributions to the history of humanity and also tells them.
