Course Objective

Aim of this course is ;
1.to provide an overview of the maritime regulations,
2.to give some useful information to understand and deal with maritime regulations and implementation process for the maritime countries,
3.to gain academic approach to maritime policy,
4.to examine key issues affecting policy making process and policy makers .

1   Describe the context and function of maritime regulations
2   Analyze the policy making steps of maritime transport
3   Evaluate the different actors´ roles and interest in maritime transport.
4   Critically analyze the national and international maritime policies
5   Attributing daily international maritime problems
