Course Objective

The aim of this course is to emphasize under which conditions would the parties have
the right to appeal, terms and grounds of application of the right to appeal,
procedural acquired rights, prohibition of verdict against demandant, prohibition of
Reformatio in Peius with in the frame of distinguish between ordinary and extraordinary
legal remedies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the skills to define the concepts of ordinary and extraordinary legal remedies in civil procedure law.
2   To learn the skills to solve the issues arising from the practice of appeal and cassation.
3   To learn the skills to define the concept of procedural acquired rights.
4   To learn the skills to compare the prohibition of verdict against demandant and prohibition of Reformatio in Peius.
5   To learn the skills to interpret the grounds of appeal, cassation, renewal of judging and appeal in favour of the Administration of Justice.
