Course Objective

This course aims at providing the information about the basic concepts of Cognitive Grammar and questioning how the cognitive complexes such as metaphor, metonymy and metaphtonymy are realised.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knowing the basic concepts of cognitive grammar
2   Explaning the mechanisms of conceptual complexes
3   Identifying and analysing the linguistics realisations of conceptual complexes
4   Analysing the relations between the conceptual complexes.
5   Conducting original research on linguistic data using cognitive grammar
