Course Objective

The objective of the course is to help students who are in their thesis process to make a literature survey about their thesis subject, to collect, evaluate and interpret the data and to fill gaps in the literature in line with the economic theory.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The ability of interpreting, improving and implementing knowledge about the thesis topic in the field of economics
2   The ability of feeling need for knowledge and reaching the information which is searched for when it is needed
3   The ability of synthesizing analyzing and interpreting information that are gathered for the master thesis
4   The ability of considering scientific and ethical values during the process of gathering, evaluating and publishing data about the thesis topic
5   The ability of designing, improving, implementing and evaluating the results of methods in order to solve the problem about the thesis topic
6   The ability of solving the problems that are faced during the implementation of the thesis by using research methods, developing new approaches and taking responsibility
7   The ability of conveying current issues regarding thesis topic and presenting his/her own studies via written, oral and visual ways
