Course Objective

: Obtaining theoretical knowledge on general identification and working methods of the woods that are used in instrument making and repairing. Gaining knowledge on the characteristics of the wood types used in instrument making.

2   Can identify tree with the general morphological features.
3   Can identify the timber with the general features.
4   Knows wood drying methods.
5   Knows wood preserving methods.
