Course Objective

Students enrolled in this course will acquire the skills necessary to safely navigate a vessel on both coastal waters and on the high seas.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The basic navigational information is learned by students
2   Magnetic and gyro compass can be used by students.
3   All navigational charts can be used and in these charts can be corrected by students
4   Students can obtain fix position by using different fixing methods.
5   Students can make the passage plan.
