Course Objective

This course provides a broad introduction to some of the leading contemporary issues, theories, concepts and debates in international relations. Selected readings and in-class presentations and discussions help students grasp some of the key themes pertaining to international relations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Develop a sophisticated understanding of selected contemporary issues in international relations.
2   Be able to communicate these issues in class presentations.
3   Be able to develop an analytically framed argument
4   Be able to develop original questions that can later be formed into academic papers.
