Course Objective

What are the management rules in marble workshops Where can the workshop can be located at How can the work permit can be obtained What are the problems encountered during the acceptance of the raw materials and processing the finished-products What are the principles of producing high-quality finished-products and healthy relationship with the customers

1   Ability to define the installation procedures of the marble workshops.
2   Ability to determine the locations of the related machinery used in the workshops.
3   Ability of organizing the staff working in the workshops.
4   Ability of evaluating the conformity of the accepted items to the order.

2 How should the machinery used in the workshops be designed
3 What qualifications should the workshop staff have, and how should their work environment be What are the contributions of the staff to the production, quality and cost
4 What are the produced materials in the marble workshops
5 What are the factors affecting production and quality
6 What are the basic rules when accepting raw materials How are the measurement and calculation processes performed
7 What are the principles in carrying, landing, stocking and maintenance of the raw materials
8 MID-TERM EXAM
9 What are the measurement and cutting techniques of the products to be produced from the raw material
10 What are the side and surface processes applied on the products
11 How should the pasting, reinforcing and mounting of the products be
12 What should be done on the relationships with the customers and customer satisfaction
13 What are the contributing factors to the costs
14 How is a cost analysis is performed

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

This lecture will be processed theoritically in class. Teaching staff will give the subjects by using slides, will discuss with students by asking and answering and will give term works for a better understanding of subjects.
