Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce novels that have shaped world literature and have been received intensely.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of this course students will be able to distinguish novels of various literatures; 2   To use his/her knowledge about the historical development of novel; 3   To use his/her knowledge about novels that have been received by American Literature; 4   To use his/her knowledge about topics and motives; 5   To analyse the history of literature in terms of novels.
