Course Objective

Examining the literarute of the marine insurance and actuarial science. Examining the marine insurance types according to their operational and legal properties. Researching how the premiums are calculated and examining the world insurance premium market. Discussing the H & M, P&I and other insurance types with different sample cases.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. The determination of management technical informations related with marine insurance within the risk management process .
2   2. Merging the the concept of risk management and the concept of insurance.
3   3. Examination of insurance applications arround the world and at our country.
4   4. Analysing the marine insurance premiums emerging after these procedures.
5   5. Seperating premiums according to insurance types.
6   6. Evaluating the risk management process and the payment of the appropriate marine insurance premiums.
