Course Objective

The course objective is to discuss the education policies and the main role of state in shaping those education policies from the viewpoint of gender equality.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to express the notion of state and state feminism
2   to be able to understand education policies against gender discrimination
3   to be able to analyze state and education policies from the aspect of gender and women
4   to be able to discuss comparatively the role of state on education policies
5   to be able to evaluate the main education policies in developed and developing countries from the viewpoint of women and gender studies.
