Course Objective

The aim of this course is to evaluate philosophically the relational problem which is based on the feminist epistemology between gender and the knowing subject. Also, the philosophical background which the feminist theories try to disclose the grounds of the sexist approach in science, social values and political constructions will be considered.

1   Conceiving the properties of the philosophical thinking
2   Conceiving the relations of philosophy with different problem fields
3   Having knowledge about the feminist epistemology
4   Conceiving the conflicts between the modern subject and identity problems
5   Introducing and evaluating the philosophical background of feminist theories
