Course Objective

The course objective is to investigate basic concepts of the system of Aristotle s philosophy by relying upon his texts and text written on his philosophy. By this way indispensible position of Aristotle in history of philosophy will be understood.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of this course students will be able to understand how philosophy become a subject of systematical investigation.
2   know the basic concepts that are contributed to the history of philosophy by Aristotle.
3   Comprehend the beginning and fundamentals of philosophical thinking and convey this knowledge to others.
4   Grasp the basic knowledge of subdisciplines of philosophy and realize the differences between the concepts essential to the philosophical subdisciplines.
5   Understand the place and importance of Aristotle in the history of philosophy.
