Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the psychological methods in testing and measurement of human behavior, psychometrics models used in scale development in psychology and exemplification of adaptation and development processes of psychological measures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define basic concepts related to the psychometrics and measurement.
2   Being able to explain the models of measuring.
3   Being able to give examples studies of the scale development and scale adaptation.
4   Being able to follow the steps of the scale development and scale adaptation in research.
5   Being able to follow current research in the scale development and scale adaptation and being able to contribute to the scientific development of the area.
