Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the cognitive mediators of social behavior and life outcomes, the development of attitudes, cognitive and affective processes in attitude change.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define recent concepts related to the social cognition and attitudes.
2   Being able to explain recent theories and models related to the social cognition and attitudes.
3   Being able to give examples of recent studies in the subject of social cognition and attitudes.
4   Being able to describe the relationship of the social cognition and attitudes to different subfields of psychology.
5   Being able to follow current research in the subject of social cognition and attitudes and being able to contribute to the scientific development of the area.
