Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the concept of the self, the history of self, the self in social interaction.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define recent concepts related to the self psychology.
2   Being able to explain recent theories and models of the self psychology.
3   Being able to give examples recent studies in the self psychology.
4   Being able to describe the relationship of the self psychology to different subfields of psychology.
5   Being able to follow current research in the self psychology and being able to contribute to the scientific development of the area.
