Course Objective

The course aims to discuss the relation between nature and human through the current technological developments, by taking into consideration the studies in the fields of philosophical ecology and antropology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Able to comprehend the hyper-seperation of human and nature.
2   Able to contributes to creating a historical consciousness on the relation between human and technology.
3   Able to discuss the debate on the role of technology in the extreme depletion of nature.
4   Able to grasp original problems in philosophical ecology.
5   Able to justify the ecological problems by using ethical arguments.
