Course Objective

an important issue to assure the product quality is measurement quality. The objective of this course is to explain calibration activities and a management system (ISO 17025) for managing measurement assurance in an organization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to be able to classify material control methods.
2   to be able to recognize the measurement devices.
3   to know metrology - tracebility concepts
4   to be able to do measurement uncertainty calculations
5   to have knowledge for construction of ISO 17025 laboratory management system in an organization
