Course Objective

Mediterranean regions so maybe the first time in many areas, the common cultural atmosphere occurred during the Hellenistic period and the Hellenistic Kingdom of which inherited the Roman era established or long-standing urban dynamics, similar / different characteristics and formed the city Agora, Theatre, Bouleterion, Stadion etc.. structures and these structures are located within the city is to evaluate.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define the characteristics of the Greek and Roman cities
2   Make the typology of Greek and Roman architecture
3   In Greek and Roman city to perceive the social structure
4   Greek and Roman religion and religious buildings in the city to evaluate
5   Greek and Roman public building in the city and areas to generalize
