Course Objective

In this course is described the period of beginning of the cinema until the 1980s.The aim of the course is to given theoretical knowledge of Turkish cimena s associated with country s current socio-political, socio-economic and socio-cultural structure.So that could make students definite period of Turkish cinema to provide analytical and social perspective.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To obtain an overview of the history of Turkish cinema.
2   And to obtain an overview of the history of the social structur of Turkey and to establish the relationship between cinema and social structure.
3   Ability to thinking,writing, and interpret on artistic and aesthetic values of the Turkish cinema.
4   For the period to be followed by specific key films in Turkish cinema.
