Course Objective

It is to apprehend the fundamental views of advanced social theorists and to look at the problems of modern societies from a theoratical frame.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will; be able to apprehend the relation between theory and science 2   develop theoretical views by establishing relations between important social theorists and the contemporary social world 3   apprehend the importance of social theories for social sciences 4   be able to explain the differences between theories 5   be able to concentrate on the social, economic and political problems on the basis of social theories
