Course Objective

Three main social science paradigms; quantitative method, qualitative method and holistic method are undertaken. The developments of all these paradigms and method approaches in Turkish history of thought are undertaken.

1   Being able to realize the relation between theory and science in sociology
2   Being able to undertake paradigms in social sciences and to compare them
3   Being able to comprehend the significance of methodology in social sciences
4   Being able to explain the differences between methods
