Course Objective

The aim of course is to transfer origins and the purpose of family and couple therapy. Moreover, the basic approaches used in family therapy also will be discussed. On the other hand, stages of family therapy and formulating problems in the family therapy, intervention methods in adolescent, child and adult focused family therapy will be also discussed.

2   To summarize the purpose of family therapy
3   To distinguish family therapy theories that focuses on behavior, belief systems and context
4   To create integrative family therapy models
5   To design different intervention models according to family therapy approaches
6   To formulate problems in family therapy
7   To conduct different practices in family therapy during working with children, adolescents and adults
