Course Objective

The aim of this course is to study Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Anatolian Civilizations and to discuss historical problems of these cultures from Stone age to Byzantine period according to historical texts and archaeological data

2   define main forms of art of Mesopotamia, Egypy and Anatolia
3   define main forms of art of Mesopotamia, Egypy and Anatolia
4   know literature on this cultures and use it in a study
5   understand importance of acculturation in the Middle East and its role in history of civilization
