Course Objective

The objective of this course is to study the European Cultural History within its social and literary dimensions, i.e. from a socio historical view.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To analyze movements in the European cultural history from a socio historical view.
2   To assess historical periods in terms of the literary and cultural history.
3   To distinguish the underlying dynamics of the periods in the European cultural history.
4   To construe historical periods from an interdisciplinary point of view.
5   To recognize the importance of peripheral elements of history.
