Course Objective

This course aims to give students the ability to acquire and apply knowledge of gender to historical texts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about gender studies.
2   To have a basic knowledge of some gender based concepts.
3   To be capable of interpreting primary sources on gender studies and doing textual analysis.
4   To be capable of using course s terminology.
5   To have a basic knowledge of theories used in gender studies and to avoid sexist language.
