Course Objective

The objective of this course is to study the mechanisms of mutual reception and categorization of societies from the perspective of comparative literature.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To recognize the importance of literary products as historical documents.
2   To ascertain the highly visible reflections of social history in literature.
3   To distinguish the equivalence of literary texts to historical documents from the psychohistorical perspective.
4   To draw conclusions about the respective period of time from literary products.
5   To use literary history as an auxiliary discipline.
