Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to compare and contrast the constitutions of the Turkish Repuplic and that of the United States of America. The former was first written in 1924 and has been revised several times whereas the latter remains unchanged except for the amendments added to the constitution.

1   To analyze the constitution of the United States;
2   To analyze the constitution of the Turkish Republic;
3   To evaluate the history of the constitution of the United States of America;
4   To evaluate the history of the constitution of the Turkish Republic;
5   To compare and contrast the two constitutions.

* evaluate and analyze the given information.

* According to the university policy the students are required to attend 70% of all scheduled classes.
