Course Objective

To introduce the culture and art values in city of Izmir from the past to the present. To explain the importance of faith and culture tourism in Izmir and its environment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will tell the history of the Izmir.
2   Will be able to explain and learn the culture and art of Izmir.
3   Will learn to recognize religious and historical sites, museums in Izmir and its enviroment.
4   Identifies the attractions and places of cultural centers of Izmir and its surroundings.
5   Understands the role and importance of the Izmir and its surroundings in the faith and culture tourism.
