Course Objective

To provide students to understand the pilgrimage in the World's Living Religions in terms of faith tourism. The basic aims of the lectures are examining the religious journeys and their importance in the mentioned religions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Judaism and its practice.
2   Students shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Christianity and its practice.
3   Students shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Islam and its practice.
4   Students shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Hinduism and its practice.
5   Students shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Buddhism and its practice.
6   Sudents shall learn the importance of pilgrimage in the Jainism and Sikhism.
