Course Objective

This course aims to provide a historical background on the events of religious (faith) tourism and the processes of festivals by presenting the emergence of Islam and drawing a framework of the early period of Islamic history.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will comprehend the features of the period in which Islam emerged.
2   Will have knowledge on the historical process of the planning required for creating an (religious) event.
3   Will learn the emergence and expansion of Islam in terms of all features.
4   Will gain information about the expansion of Islam and its political history.
5   Will have information about the Islamic institutions.
