1   The importance of media in tourism sector Categorize the types of media. Explain the importance of media relations in tourism sector Define interpersonal communication. Explain mass communication concept and theories. Compare the similarities and differences of these concepts by giving samples.
2   Interpret cases in media related to tourism sector. Explain how the relations with media should be and how those relations can be improved. Explain the relationship between tourism and advertising. Debate the relationship between tourism and films. Compare printed, visual and digital media for the usage of tourism.
3   Explain the effects of new media on tourism sector. Define the concept of social media. List social media platforms used in tourism sector. Explain and use their creative and powerful characteristics in tourism sector.
