Course Objective

A comparing survey of two basic Art of Drama genre tragedy and comedy through sample plays from the first examples, concerning its evolution while used within theatrical movements until present time.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Developing the ability of the student to acquire theoretical information in performing arts
2   Increasing student's cultural accummulation of the field
3   Being able to do an academic research and evaluate the results
4   Being able generate review and commentary that are comparison centered
5   Interpreting art movements and trends from a historical perspective are expected
