Course Objective

Evaluating the production and service processes with lean thinking approach and describing the use of lean manufacturing in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of production and service processes, reducing costs and improving the quality of the obtained outputs.

5 Critical success factors for simplicity in organization
6 Lean manufacturing techniques, kanban and pull system
7 The one-piece flow, small lot production
8 Smoothening of production, cellular office layout
9 Reducing setup times, Jidoka and Poka Yoke techniques
10 Visual inspection, 5S, Kaizen, total productive maintenance
11 Examination of lean manufacturing practices
12 Value stream mapping
13 Six sigma
14 Conclusion and Evaluation
